Memory Effect

"Memory effect , also known as lazy battery effect , is an effect observed in nickel cadmium rechargeable batteries that causes them to hold less charge , batteries gradually lose their maximum energy capacity if they are repeatedly recharged after being only partially discharged , the battery appears to "remember" the smaller capacity"

Humans are similar to laptop batteries , we lose capacity if we do not push ourselves to the edge every once in a while , the problem is we remember that we used to have larger capacity but we no longer do , and it becomes a frustrating process to get that capacity back .
