If you are able to control all the functions that your brain can do one way or another , you will be able to see and feel anything you want , people with schizophrenia see and interact with things that do not exist , while as far as i know doctors did not find something "physically" wrong about their brains , maybe those people were able to control what they want to see and chose the things they need and created them , which seems genius to me .
Even normal 'healthy' people live in denial most of the time , and enjoy things and feelings that do not really exist , even when you dream you feel pain , happiness and even taste food if you happen to eat something in your dream.
The only problem with all of the above is that you can not control your functions perfectly , if your dreaming or in denial you will wake up , or people will help you to wake up , but what if you were able to induce schizophrenia , induce illusions , all you need is enough money to rent a room for your whole life time and buy some nutritions , and then you can just live the life you want , even eat the same food every day and taste it differently , it does not matter that it is not real for other people , it is real for you .

lol yeah i know , well i put there because i noticed that the post looks like a drug ad ,, am not sure if its a good read or a good laugh yet so far the book has some ideas ,if whats in it is applicable then its a good first step
